That Sinking Feeling
My fine art masters final piece for falmouth university, spreading awareness about the disparity in housework between men and women. click Youtube logo in bottom right of video player to watch on Youtube.
The film follows the main character Lena as she wakes up for the day but enters a dream where she is trapped in the sink, forced to do endless chores and is chained to the plug hole ,we follow her story through her nightmare dream where she eventually manages to break free from her chains by some mysterious characters...

About Me
Zara Gral is a multimedia artist working across a variety of mediums including, Claymation, painting, performance art, pottery and sculpting. Her practice aims to raise awareness in the disparity between gender in relation to domestic labour. Drawing upon research concerning feminist theory and questions around domesticity enables her work to express passion and deep personal meaning
